Rival Ranks is a vibrant community for gamers to connect, challenge each other, and have fun. These Community Guidelines ("Guidelines") outline the rules for using our Services to ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone. By using Rival Ranks, you agree to these Guidelines, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and EULA. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, suspensions, or account deletion.

1. Respect and Inclusivity

Treat others with respect. Do not:

• Engage in harassment, bullying, or threats in chats, profiles, or challenges.
• Use hate speech, discrimination, or slurs based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or other protected characteristics.
• Post explicit, violent, or offensive content in submissions, descriptions, or images.

Encourage positive interactions, like fair play in challenges and constructive feedback.

2. Fair Play in Challenges

Challenges should be fun and competitive. Do not:

• Cheat, use hacks, or submit falsified completions (e.g., edited images or false descriptions).
• Create challenges that promote illegal activities or violate game titles' terms.
• Spam or create duplicate challenges to manipulate visibility.
• Abuse reporting features to falsely flag users or challenges.

Use questions and answers honestly. Disputes can be voted on by participants or reviewed by admins.

3. Content Standards

All content must be appropriate. Avoid:

• Illegal content, such as promoting piracy or drugs.
• Infringing on copyrights (e.g., using unlicensed game assets in profiles).
• Spam, scams, or misleading information in chats or notifications.
• Impersonating others or creating fake accounts.

Profiles should accurately represent you; use real images and info.

3.1 Tips & Tricks and Social Media Content

When sharing tips, tricks, guides, or social media content, you must follow these requirements:

Copyright and Attribution Requirements:

• Only share content you own or have explicit permission to use
• When sharing social media posts or links, ensure you have permission from the original account holder
• Always provide proper attribution to original sources when sharing content
• Do not share copyrighted game assets, screenshots, videos, or content without proper authorization
• Respect content creators' rights and follow fair use guidelines

Content Review and Moderation:

• All shared tips, tricks, and social media content are subject to automated and manual review
• Content may be flagged for copyright concerns, inappropriate material, or policy violations
• We reserve the right to remove any content that violates our guidelines or applicable laws
• Content removal may occur without prior notice if it poses immediate risk or violates policies

Verification and Account Requirements:

• You are responsible for verifying that shared social media accounts have consented to sharing
• Do not share private or restricted social media content without explicit permission
• Maintain records of permission for content you share (we may request verification)
• Report any unauthorized sharing of your own content immediately

Enforcement and Penalties:

• First violation: Warning and content removal
• Repeated violations: Temporary restrictions on sharing content (7-30 days)
• Serious violations: Permanent restrictions on Tips & Tricks features
• Severe or repeated copyright infringement: Account suspension or permanent ban
• Appeals can be submitted to support@rivalranks.com within 30 days

4. Social Interactions

When adding friends, blocking, or reporting:

• Respect privacy—do not share personal info without consent.
• Report genuine issues (e.g., harassment or cheating) accurately.
• Avoid evading blocks by creating new accounts.

Chats are for positive communication; no doxxing or stalking.

5. Enforcement

We enforce these Guidelines through:

• User reports: Investigated promptly.
• Admin reviews: For automated flags or disputes.
• Actions: Warnings, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, or content deletion.
• Copyright enforcement: Immediate removal and escalated penalties for repeat offenders.

Appeals can be submitted to support@rivalranks.com within 30 days.

6. Reporting Violations

Use in-app reporting for users, challenges, content, or copyright violations. Provide details for faster resolution. False reports may lead to your own penalties.

Reporting Copyright Violations:

• Include specific details about the copyrighted content
• Provide proof of ownership or authorization when possible
• Report unauthorized use of your social media content immediately

7. Changes to Guidelines

We may update these Guidelines. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
